Irene Gleeson Foundation (Australia) Ltd (IGFA) is a registered not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, which is governed by a Board of Directors.
IGF Australia is responsible for creating and maintaining a reliable, efficient and ethical funding base through the promotion of sponsorships, fundraising events and other activities to enable IGF’s goals and objectives to be achieved in Northern Uganda. IGF Australia is also responsible for the co-ordination of all visits by Australian residents to IGF Uganda and the general promotion in Australia of IGF’s activities.
IGFA has a board comprising non-executive directors who meet as a full Board regularly.

David Welsh – Chairman of Irene Gleeson Foundation (Australia) Ltd
David has a Bachelor of Business degree and has been a CPA for over 30 years. He has held the Executive Director of Kenneth Copeland Ministries Australia Asia Pacific for the last 15 years. He has extensive experience serving on numerous Not for Profit Boards. He specialises in leadership development, executive management, Not for Profit governance and strategic planning. David has had a friendship and association with Irene Gleeson and her work since 1999.
John Paul Kiffasi –Director
Diploma in Business Administration; Certificates in Project Planning and Management, Human Resource Management, Project Monitoring and Evaluation; Bachelor of Commerce (Bcomm) Student.
John Paul joined IGF in 2000 and operated as Development Manager for Uganda for 5 years. He then served as Chief Administrator from 2006 to 2013. In 2013 John Paul was appointed as Executive Director for Uganda.
Anders Halvorsen – Director.

Julie has been a teacher in NSW Public schools for most of her working life. She was a friend of Irene, and has actively supported IGF for several years . She rejoices at the GOD – inspired difference that IGF continues to make in the lives of so many children. She has visited IGF Kitgum three times, and has witnessed the on-going enabling of these many children, towards reaching their full potential. Julie has recently expanded her horizons into the political spectrum, and runs as a candidate for Christian Democratic Party in NSW.

Irene Gleeson Foundation Uganda (IGFU) is an incorporated Non-Government Organisation (NGO), registered under the Ugandan Non-Government Organisations Registration (Amendment) Act 2006 and is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors oversees all aspects of the organisation, including its vision, mission, financial management, sustainability and strategic planning.

Hon. Ben Okello Luwum – Ben Luwum was appointed Chairman of IGFU in [date]. Ben Luwum is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom and a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda.
Ted Nsubuga Ssempebwa – Ted Ssempebwa was appointed Company Secretary of IGFU in [date]. Ted Ssempebwa is a barrister-at-law and advocate with the largest leading law firm in Uganda [name of law firm].

IGF Uganda are responsible for the facilitation, implementation and management of the various IGF Projects. The operational matters are overseen by John Paul Kiffasi, as Executive Director of IGF Uganda with the assistance of the Senior Management Team. As the implementing organisation, IGF Uganda works towards achieving its vision to transform, liberate and empower people to build sustainable communities.
